BS6 Emission norms Phase 2 will be applicable in india by April 2023 (expected). BS6 Emission Norms were Released and were in Action in April 2020 by the Indian Government. In BS6 Emission Norms , many Vehicles were kicked out in the Indian Automotive Market and mostly there were Diesel Vehicles. Diesel Vehicles were in the Kicked Out list because it was observed that they were causing Air Pollution by their Exhaust.
But some Vehicles Regenerated their Engines as per the BS6 Norms and were Relaunched in the Market with new BS6 Engines. Some were Launched with DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) which prevents the Pollution and make the Exhaust Clean. So in 2023 as per the New Norms , many Diesel Vehicles will be out of the Market and New Engine Norms will be released soon. Till now we don't have full Information about the New Emission norms , But it will be updated soon.
